• Teaches how to use the University of Michigan’s Energy Expenditure Prediction Program^TM software to predict the metabolic energy rate of a job.

• Provides an objective rate for gauging fatigue that can be compared with NIOSH guidelines.

• Is useful for anyone who is responsible for

  • Identifying tasks that require excess energy expenditure

  • Designing new jobs or comparing existing job designs with proposed alternatives.

Note:
This ergonomics training class requires purchase of software ($360 ± per student).
