Ergonomics Training >>> Ergonomic Eye Evaluations to Identify Vision Defects
This is an ergonomics training workshop in which each attendee's eyesight is evaluated at their computer to
identify vision defects.
Eye-CEE (Eye-Computer Ergonomic Evaluation)
software is used in class. This software was developed at the Department of
Optometry and Visual Science at City University in London, England, and validated by the
Association of Optometrists.
Tets performed include visual acuity, letter search,
number search, muscle balance, eye coordination, visual fields, and a subjective screen
rating.
Note:
Each participant will need access during the class to the computer they normally use, or
to a laptop they can bring to class.
Note 2:
Eyestrain is a very common health problem reported by people working at their
computers today. One of the best ways of evaluating your vision is by having
an eye examination performed right at your computer under your precise working conditions.
Is there anything specific you
want emphasized during your ergonomics training class?
