This ergonomics training class teaches students how to use the software developed by Arun Garg, Chief Consultant to NIOSH, for the revised NIOSH Guide for Manual Lifting.

The NIOSH safe lifting criteria is used to determine the

• Recommended Weight Limit (RWL)

• Lifting Index (LI)

• and percent of male and female populations capable of performing two-handed lifting and lowering tasks under specified conditions.

Note:
This ergonomics training class requires purchase of software ($250 ± per student)
